I coach authors and professionals to prepare manuscripts for publication, academic papers, and professional communications. Combining a demented passion for rhetoric, grammar, and analysis with over a decade of teaching experience, I have helped engineers, lawyers, veterinarians, and health educators excel in their communications with people outside of their usual linguistic circles – customers, lay people, and members of other fields.

My writing background includes technical writing, business communications, journalism, public relations and marketing (including “advertorial” writing), information products, and an award-winning biography for middle-school students. I was schooled in editing and publishing as a production editor with a major software developer and as a proofreading intern with an internationally nationally circulated magazine.
