How I Work
My objective is to help clients produce a desired work product or use writing to move them toward a real-world goal. Thus, texts (rather than activities) serve as the milestones along the course of our work together.
My role might be:
- Writing a draft and incorporating your reactions
- Eliciting a draft and making edits or revisions
- Coaching writers to identify or clarify the purpose of a piece
- Generating a roadmap to be followed during a writing process
I serve clients around the globe via email, phone, VoIP, and wiki. I am currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area and draw on a virtual team of colleagues — some local, some at a distance.
Most often I work on a project basis, with fees determined based on scope, expenses, complexity, and time line.
